COSY BALA COTTAGE, SNOWDONIA

Accommodation;

Lobby area is a very large enough room for your coats, shoes and pushchairs.

The lounge is very cosy with a log/coal burner for heating and exposed beams, stone walls and wooden floor. There is a sofa and an armchair, table and chairs to seat 6 at a time.

Open plan kitchen with a AGA / Rayburn cooker (for cooking, heating and hot water), a seperate double electric hob, microwave, coffee maker, toaster all home comforts.

Bedroom 1: Wrought iron double bed.
Bedroom 2: Full size bunk beds, with extra pull out bed also.
Bedroom 3: Wooden framed double bed. Great views.
Bedroom 4: Sort sized bunk beds, suitable for the children.
Bedroom 5: Standard double bed.

The bedrooms probably best suit three pairs of adults in the three double rooms, and up to five children in the bunk bed rooms.

The main bathroom has a bath, sink and toilet. The celing is low in places and you need to be fairly agile to get in and out of the bath without hitting your head on the wooden beam!

There is also a shower room with a great shower, toilet and sink.

Heating is provided from a combination of electric heating and the Rayburn. Plus the log burner will provide loads of heat in the winter once it gets going!

You will need to bring your own bedding, bath towels, hand and tea towels.

Ample safe car parking and there is a large attached barn which is good for storage for bikes, canoes, outside gear somewhere for the kids to play.

This cottage is peaceful and relaxing, yet close enough to Bala town to go out for dinner, pub, pizza and also close to everything Snowdonia has to offer.

No extra charge for fuel or electricity although we do just ask that you replace the the coal and logs that you use for the log/coal burner in the lounge. A high chair and travel cot are available.

Small well behaved pet is welcome, but must be kept off the furniture please.

There is free Wi-Fi.
There is a digital radio and an aerial point. We do not supply a TV, you are more than welcome to take your own and plug it in.

A £100 bond is requested just to cover any possible breakages or cleaning charges if the cottage is left uncleaned,which you will get back at the end of your stay if everything is OK.

You can either pay with Paypal, direct bank transfer, cheque or cash. A cheque needs to be cleared before your stay starts.

Terms and Conditions:

We will require you to complete a booking form.
We will charge a £100 security bond, on top of the hire price, which we will refund in full, if the fixtures, fittings and effects are all found to be in good and fair order (excepting fair wear and tear) The bond will be retained if the cottage is left uncleaned. If damage occurs, which to make good exceeds the amount of the security bond, compensation for the full amount will be required.
All prices include heating, electricity, (Towels, bed linen are not provided.)
If there are any problems with the accommodation during your stay, please contact us immediately, on the number provided in the welcome folder and we will try our best to solve the problem.
The cottage will be available from 3 pm onwards on arrival. Departure time is by 10 am, to allow the necessary time to prepare the accommodation to a high standard for the next visitors.
The cottage is to be left in the same state of cleanliness and order in which it was found.
The number of persons using the cottage must not exceed the number stated on the booking form.
Whilst we have in force appropriate insurance for public liability, responsibility cannot be accepted for your personal effects.
We operate a no smoking policy in the accommodation.
